Six customization services, one partner

Every engagement runs on the woCyber 6-Pillar ODM Path: Design, Hardware, Firmware, App, Packaging, Mass production. Four pillars carry your brand identity directly: white-label app, brand UI, logo silk-printing or laser etching, and retail-ready localized packaging.

01

Product design

Industrial design · mechanical engineering · NPI

We start from either an existing platform or a blank sheet. Our mechanical and electrical engineers produce concept renders, 3D models, tolerance stack-ups and mould-flow-ready CAD, then drive the design through DFM review before tooling is cut.

  • Concept & render
  • 3D CAD / STEP
  • Mechanical & thermal design
  • DFM / DFA review
  • Enclosure tooling
  • Rapid prototype
  • Compliance pre-scan
  • Design freeze & BOM lock
Lead time

First concepts in 2–3 weeks; tooling-ready data in 6–8 weeks for a custom enclosure.nCommercials | NRE quoted per project, credited against volume on programmes above the agreed threshold.nDeliverables | 3D data, 2D drawings, BOM, test plan and a signed design-freeze record.

02

Hardware customization

Platform configuration · board-level change · validation

The fastest route to a differentiated SKU is reconfiguring the existing platform. We change compute, memory, storage, port mix and expansion while keeping the certified base design intact — which protects your EMC and safety test position.

  • SoC & memory configuration
  • eMMC / storage sizing
  • Port & interface mix
  • PCB revision & respin
  • Power supply variants
  • Regional adaptor variants
  • Thermal & power validation
  • Signal & environmental testing
MOQ guidance

Reconfiguration from 100 units per SKU. New PCB respins typically from 1,000 units.nTest scope | Power-on, thermal soak, EMC pre-scan, drop and vibration per project requirement.nRisk control | Any change to a certified design triggers an impact assessment with a written test plan.

03

Firmware development

OS image · web UI · OTA · security hardening

Our firmware team owns the Linux-based NAS operating system and the application layer on top of it. We deliver branded images, custom feature sets and a signing infrastructure so your devices update securely on your own release cadence.

  • Branded OS image
  • Custom web UI & theme
  • Boot logo & splash
  • Feature enable / disable
  • Default service set
  • Signed OTA channel
  • Security hardening
  • SDK & API access
Release cadence

Your own version numbering and update channel; monthly, quarterly or on demand.nSource control | Customer-specific branch maintained for the life of the programme.nHandover | SDK documentation, build instructions and QA test suite included at programme start.

04

APP customization

iOS · Android · desktop client · web portal

Your customers judge the product by the app. We white-label the mobile application, desktop agent and web portal with your identity, colours and languages, and we submit the builds to the App Store and Google Play under your developer account.

  • White-label iOS app
  • White-label Android app
  • Branded desktop client
  • Custom web portal
  • Localisation packs
  • App store submission
  • Push notification setup
  • Analytics integration
Store submission

We prepare assets, privacy declarations and release notes; you publish under your own account.nLanguages | Interface localisation into your target markets — EN, DE, FR, IT, ES, JA, KO, FI and more on request.nIndependence | Your brand only — no woCyber marks are exposed in the shipped client applications.

05

Packaging customization

Retail packaging · documentation · accessories · retail compliance

Retail-ready packaging is a compliance surface as much as a brand surface. We produce artwork, structural packaging, inserts and multilingual documentation that satisfy marketplace and retail listing requirements in the US and the EU.

  • Retail carton & artwork
  • Structural design
  • Moulded EPE / pulp inserts
  • Multilingual manuals
  • Energy & compliance labels
  • Barcodes & serialisation
  • Accessory & cable kits
  • Master carton & pallet plan
Retail compliance

EAN / UPC coding, energy labelling, WEEE and producer-responsibility marks, country-of-origin marking.nMarketplaces | Amazon, eBay and European retail listings require specific label sets — we build the artwork to match.nSustainability | FSC-certified board and plastic-free insert options available on request.

06

Mass production

SMT · assembly · burn-in · inspection · fulfilment

Once the design is frozen we take it to volume. SMT, DIP, sub-assembly, system integration, burn-in and final inspection run under one roof, with batch traceability recorded against your serial numbers.

  • SMT & DIP lines
  • Sub-assembly
  • System integration
  • 72-hour burn-in
  • 100% pre-shipment inspection
  • Serial & batch traceability
  • Export documentation
  • Sea / air / express freight
Capacity

Scalable from 500 to 20,000+ units per month with capacity booked at order confirmation.nLead time | Samples 7–10 days after design freeze; mass production 15–30 days by volume and configuration.nTraceability | Batch records, test data and inspection reports archived per shipment and available on request.

Who it is for

Four buyers that launch on our line

Find the profile closest to yours - the platform, the terms and the paperwork differ for each. All four launch with MOQ 100 on certified hardware.

Consumer electronics brands

Adding NAS or private cloud next to an existing product line. Start white-label on A2 Pro or A3 Pro - your channel already trusts your brand, and we stay invisible behind it.

Security and smart-home companies

Bundle cameras with storage and sell one SKU instead of two. S1 brings PoE, ONVIF and edge AI with a false-alarm rate under 3%; A2 Pro adds RAID 1 storage behind the same ONVIF standard.

Software, cloud and telecom players

Put your service on our hardware. X4 runs containers with 4K transcoding and optional 10GbE, so you bill the monthly service while the customer owns the box - hardware sold once, software billed by you.

Retail chains and distributors

A house-brand line across price points, from A3 Pro to X4 in the published retail range. MOQ 100 per SKU, packaging localized per market, certification documents ready for your buyers.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask before starting

Yes. Send us your template and we will return a countersigned copy, usually within one working day. We work under NDA on the majority of our programmes.
Yes. Custom ID and tooling are invoiced to you and ownership transfers to your company once paid. We do not reuse customer-specific tooling for other clients.
No. In a private-label or OEM programme the shipped product, the packaging, the app and the documentation carry only your brand.
We maintain a customer-specific firmware branch for the life of the programme. You control the release cadence and can either approve updates before release or operate a fully locked image.
Failures are reported through our RMA process. We provide spare parts, and where a field failure rate exceeds the agreed threshold we carry out a root-cause analysis and issue a corrective-action report.
Yes, and we encourage it. Video walkthroughs, scheduled inspections by SGS, Bureau Veritas, TÜV or your own engineers, and on-site visits are all arranged on request.
CE, UKCA, FCC, RoHS, REACH, WEEE as standard, plus UN38.3 and IEC 62368-1 where applicable.
We do not disclose client identities. Where regional exclusivity is agreed in writing, we do not supply the same configuration to another party in that territory for the term of the agreement.
You sell ownership, not rent. One hardware purchase replaces a recurring monthly fee for every seat and every terabyte, with data kept on-premises and no vendor lock-in. Our published retail reference prices give you a transparent floor for planning your own margin.
Yes, and several partners started exactly there. You own the brand, the service and the customer relationship; we own the certified hardware, firmware maintenance and production. Start white-label on an existing platform with no NRE, and step up to ODM hardware changes only when your differentiation demands it.
